On behalf of the “Spirit of Edmonton”, Grey Cup Committee, I want to thank you for visiting our website.  I trust our site will answer all your questions that you may have.  Please take a look through our photo gallery and perhaps you’ll recognize some friends.  “Welcome”

The “Spirit of Edmonton” is a great community success story, but it doesn’t just belong to the City of Champions, Edmonton; it belongs to all of Canada and the Canadian Football League community.

For the past 30 years, the “Spirit of Edmonton” has prided itself on hosting an event that is second to none, while ensuring it is affordable, entertaining and a memorable event for all.  Respectful of all our friends, new and old, and all our thoughtful volunteers, we have never implemented a cover charge and I am proud to say never will. Our successful hospitality room package is OUR memorable Grey Cup experience!

This being said, due to the uncontrollable challenges of keeping venue/food and organizing costs down  for our “Spirit of Edmonton” Grey Cup Breakfast (sold out continuously for 20 years) the “Spirit of Edmonton” voluntary committee has made a difficult decision to increase the cost of the Breakfast Event to $100.00 with a guarantee to all our friends and supporters that this price will remain in place until 2012.  We believe this decision will enable us to budget for those future cities where our breakfast seating capacity may be smaller than we would like.

As Chair and on behalf of my fellow committee colleagues, we will continue to evolve and grow both the hospitality room experience and the “Spirit of Edmonton” Breakfast, to ensure your experience and satisfaction is either maintained or surpassed every year a city hosts the Grey Cup event.
